OSAGE LLC RECEIVES $2.5 MILLION APPROPRIATION FROM OSAGE CONGRESS

Funds would go toward purchase of real property and investment inThe American’ statue project

(Tulsa, Okla., May 5) – On April 15, the Osage Nation Congress passed ONCA 11-63, a bill to appropriate $2.5 million to Osage LLC for the purchase of real property and investment in ‘The American’ statue project. The Osage Nation Congress granted Osage LLC 60 days to respond to the appropriation.

According to Osage, LLC’s Chief Executive Officer Carol Leese, the company is currently in the process of going through its due diligence and conducting a feasibility study. Osage LLC board of directors approval also must be obtained before the LLC moves forward with acceptance of the appropriation.

The American’ will be a 21-story (217 feet tall) bronze statue of an American Indian warrior and eagle. Its height would exceed that of New York’s Statue of Liberty, which stands at 150 feet .
